AOSG Requirements:

Filipino travellers do not need an Affidavit of Support (AOS) if they are flying to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from other countries apart from the Philippines. In such cases, only a valid UAE tourist visa and a confirmed flight ticket are required. However, if a Filipino national is invited by a UAE resident sponsor and is travelling directly from the Philippines, the AOSG letter may be required—especially if the purpose of the visit is job hunting or potential employment. The requirement applies to all seven emirates: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, and Umm Al Quwain.
